The first four divisions are inorganic and all involve the principles of the elements (atomic numbers) and their properties.Structure is the study of molecules that are important in biological or chemical processes. Atoms are made up of subatomic particles. Molecules consist of many atoms. Particles are composed of protons and neutrons. Every atom and molecule are a unique structure which has no two being exactly alike.Specific is the study of specific properties. Properties are the effects of the particles. There are many types of interactions that occur when an atom interacts with another. Atomic charges are ways to describe how charged molecules are. It is generally believed that electrons are positively charged and protons are negatively charged.Molecules are comprised of different elementary forms. Elementary forms are the molecular structures that we commonly see in nature. Molecules are formed as molecules are broken down by heat, enzymes, ultraviolet light, water, or other means.Atomic number indicates the number of protons and neutrons present in an atom. An atom's atomic number does not change over time. Its value will only change by a small amount. Atomic number is used to refer to the number of protons and neutrons that make up an atom.Physical refers to the properties of an atom. It can also be used to refer to properties such as mass, diameter, thickness, length, weight, density, speed, shape, and location. Chemical refers to the properties of a substance that includes its solubility, boiling point, freezing point, vapor pressure, and reactivity.Biological refers to the study of life forms that include humans and the organisms they contain. The names of the different biological species are different and the anatomy of each species differs greatly. Biological systems are divided into living systems, nonliving systems, and biological systems.Organic refers to the physical and material properties of substances. The term itself is a noun that describes the substances it refers to. Nonliving systems include living organisms. The structure of living organisms can be described as complex.
